Chris has wide-ranging expertise in health and safety and fire safety consultancy. Chris served for over 30 years in the London Fire Brigade, rising to the rank of Assistant Divisional Officer in the role of Station Commander. He also qualified as a hazardous materials and environmental protection officer. Apart from his operational role, he also served as an instructor at the Brigade training school and an inspecting officer in the fire safety department.The latter has given him a vast experience of legal compliance in fire safety.

Chris is qualified as a Construction Design & Management Co-Ordinator (CDM-c) having trained in the field of construction safety. He is also experienced in fire safety in tunnelling construction.

Since leaving the fire brigade in 2006, Chris has continued to work as a senior fire and health & safety consultant working on a variety of portfolios of work spanning a variety of different types of premises and functions.
